Fees load automatically with the current base/standard taker rate. You can override any value manually. KuCoin may charge 0.20% or 0.30% on Class B/C pairs; custom VIP tiers, exchange-token discounts or promotions cannot be inferred without your account.

Manual transfer validation

Exchanges without public wallet data. Set the withdrawal/deposit status and, when known, the network and withdrawal fee so these routes can be validated manually.

DEX diagnostics: no errors

DEX: the scanner now requires an exact base-token symbol match; if no valid pool exists it shows “No valid price” and does not reuse stablecoin prices. A high spread on an illiquid pool is still not a real opportunity; the next stage will query routers/quoters with an exact trade size.

Method, example and assumptions

Net result. For every pair of exchanges with live quotes, the scanner computes the gross spread (sell bid ÷ buy ask − 1) and then deducts the taker fees on both sides plus, when known, the withdrawal fee of the selected network in asset units. The modeled net is the return after those costs for the configured simulated capital.

Liquidity. Top-of-book liquidity is the USD value of the best ask quantity (buy side) and the best bid quantity (sell side). The book-coverage column compares the maximum executable size at the top of the book with the simulated capital; depth beyond the top of book is not available, so real slippage could be larger.

Verdict. A route is GO when the modeled net is positive, the transfer is confirmed (public data or manual validation), top-of-book liquidity covers the capital and the withdrawal fee is known. It is NO when the transfer is blocked or the net is not positive, and CHECK when some requirement is partial or unknown.

How FinanceTools screens crypto arbitrage

The scanner compares prices across supported exchanges, then adds context that a raw spread alone cannot provide. It checks trading fees, available liquidity and, where public network data exists, whether a withdrawal network on the buy venue is compatible with deposits on the sell venue. Known withdrawal fees can also be deducted from the modeled route.

A visible spread is not guaranteed profit. Quotes can move before both orders fill, withdrawals can be paused, networks can become congested and order-book depth can disappear. Treat the result as a screening tool for routes worth validating.

Frequently asked questions

What is crypto arbitrage?

Crypto arbitrage seeks to exploit a price difference for the same asset across venues or markets by buying where it is cheaper and selling where it is more expensive.

Why does transfer status matter?

If the asset cannot be withdrawn from the buy exchange or deposited on the sell exchange through a compatible network, the apparent cross-exchange route may not be executable.

Are withdrawal fees included?

When FinanceTools has a verified public network fee for the selected route, it can include that cost. Unknown fees are shown as unknown rather than estimated.
